ECS Stage 1 Clutch kit?

Featured Replies

As I said, my stock one was badly damaged and the heavy pedal feel might have been due to that, so I can't really compare it to a good stock one. However, compared to a mk2 vrs I'd say it feels about the same from a pedal lightness point of view.

I'm back after 1000 something kilometers with the new clutch. Verdict: it's fantastic...please imagine some exclamation marks here, since the numeric part of my keyboard stopped working :D. I've driven both highways and regular roads, some mountains included and after about 500km I really let myself go... absolutely zero slippage and what's more, changing gears under hard acceleration is really, really good now. The feeling is that when you let go of the pedal it just locks instantly and completely and off you go. So, all in all, highly HIGHLY recommended upgrade.

After I get the car on the dyno I'll be back to let you know how much wheel hp it's really holding :p
