I saw a post from micky32 on the yank gti forum asking what cars a stage 2+ TFSI and stage could compete with, and it got me into thinking what would be best to realistically compare against as im heading thsat way this month when my HPFP internals rock up.

The yanks are notorious for over exagerating their power, i think a stage 1 remap over there is producing circa 400bhp at the moment:rofl: got to get me one of those.

There have been a few stage 2 and stage 2+ cars on here so we should get some good comparisons.

There was talk of EVO X FQ300, Impreza STI, M3, S3 etc but what about the likes of tuned focus STs, VXRs, megane 225s, edition 30s etc. Anybody any experiences.

I know for certain that stage 1 bluefin easily out dragged my friends Focus ST, and at Stage 2 at the nurburgring an astra VXR nurburgring(supposably 255bhp) could not get past me on corners or straights.
