Oil in Intercooler pipes

Featured Replies

On my 1.9TDi i have just had the top seal replaced under warranty on the intercooler pipe as it has been leaking oil all over the drivebelt.Dealer had to clean all pulleys/tensioner as they were saturated in oil and a new belt fitted then they steam cleaned the engine bay.

Is it normal for all this oil to be in that system or could the EGR be faulty or have something to do with this?

I would like to do the "Catch can" mod but its under warranty as iam sure that will stop this oil getting in there.

Any help/explanation on this would be appreciated

Car has done 31K.
