DIY Front Mount

Yea just the boost pressure will blow them off, then it will go into limp mode, i managed to push it on enough to drive home outa boost before i put the clamp on. Running aircraft spec jubille clips, there good qualiy. Im actually running pipes with flared ends, so wont have the weld problem. If you go and see Johny at Elite Custom Exhausts in Ayr he has a machine he could flare all your pipes with. RMS will be closer to your work though but not sure if they can do it.

yea as long as the clamp is tight.... mine is running 1.9Bar on over boost and they hold fine.

how is the turbo feeding into the core?

Update on this. Took peoples advice and got all the pipework swaged at an exhuast garage.

Got the Maf sensor bracket welded to the ally pipe

and its now all back together! only thing I needed to do was remove the drivers side foglight to fit in the the pipes behind the bumper

Phil do you mean how have I attached to pipework to the turbo?

Yea I was just wondering where the turbo feed on the cooler was?

Where the turbo pipe comes down by the sump I've connected it to a 2.5' reducer, here's a rough pic mate.

not got a pic of it fitted with the bumper on yet, but from the outside its pretty much the same, except the drivers foglight is missing now.

And yes they've been lipped at the ends, after reading folks advice on here I took the pipework to a local exhuast place. the guy didnt want any money for it but I seen him alright anyway:thumbup:
