I am happy to announce that my "Secondary air induction - incorrect airflow detected" problem accompanied with the 16795 code and EML light is now sorted After seeing one of the threads here which referred to another on some vw forum I had a look at the 06a103221bk pipe under the intake manifold and found it to have not one but two massive splits:

Now changed and all is well, car is much nicer to drive, much less jerky, throttle response faster and smoother. And the stupid light is off, happy days

Have you replaced the lambda sensors?
