The new age of classic games....

Featured Replies

Ive been noticing that theres a resurgence of "classic" games from the amiga era right now on modern hardware... namely 360 and piephone

Monkey Island on the iphone and 360

namco classics... pacman, digdug

and my personal current favorites... pinball fantasies and pinball dreams on the piephone..

:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

the piephone is turning out to be a cracking gaming platform... apple are earning a shedload of money from me :o

Did you know that the the ScummVM website is hosting full freeware versions of Beneath a Steel Sky, Lure of the Temptress and Flight of the Amazon Queen to use with their interpreter?

I wouldn't mind some more Amiga remakes - a good version of Speedball II would be top stuff

There's a new Speedball in the making but it sems to keep floundering. There is actually a flash game around somewhere that's very similar though not quite as slick. The remake of Alien Breed (Alien Breed Evolved) is looking very nice, but in the meantime you can download a small yet very playable indie remake here

As for Worms - Zwok is a nice little online time-killer :)

mario 3 on the wii and has slightly different handling charactistics (hard to explain) and pacman

Monkey Island on the iphone and 360

Got that the other day. Classic i had it on my Amiga and on PC aswell

Awesome game

I got Simon the sorcerer yesterday! Also got goldenaxe, streets of rage, monkey island and sonic.

Must get me some BASS!
