Pics from my 105 on D300

Featured Replies

Picked it up today, finally!! Theres a nice bloke in Jessops who always chats to me. He has this lens and he says its even better on the D300 than the 200, which is good news for me haha! Although I did read somewhere that the 300 somehow manages to make lenses look better than they actually are.... anywho, just a few snaps of the same of shizzle from my garden!

The usual flower array for a bit of colour... :)

Like the fly shot:cool:

You just need a macro flash now:D

Have fun with it and keep sharing your results:thumbup:

Nice pics Loz.

If I may say, I think they're being overcompressed. The texture seems lost or hazy on most of the petals. But maybe it's just me

By the way, if you're looking for 105mm macro inspiration, take a look at the thread on the cafe :)NikonCafe.com

TBH I couldnt really stand still with it, and it very easily goes out of focus if you move slightly with it on macro lol
