Brake upgrades

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've already got a mk4 r32 brakes sorted for the front of the car, so what would it take to get the old 312mm ones on the back?? Anyone every done it?

I was thinking the same thing. Would it be a bit much?

I'd imagine it would send the brake balance right off. The vRS rears are the same as the R32 rears, so I'd just keep the complete R32 setup like you'll be running.

You don't need big rear brakes, unless your a porsche!

Also, bigger heavier discs will only slow you down don't forget.

Thats the whole Idea Isn't It, but quicker:rofl::P

The brake bias is so slight on the rear brakes I really wouldn't bother, I looked into getting 300mm floating discs for mine, but what's the point! Beef the fronts up, $od the rears!;)

Spend the money on the engine or suspension instead!
