I think any main dealer will do it for about £150. It's already wired up for it IIRC?

Just needs a new stalk and a 'plug in' to switch it on...I think.

Fit it yourself, and find someone with VAG-COM or a dealer to enable it. FWIW, it doesnt normally come pre-wired

I believe a few people on here have had it done at 'Unit 18'.

£150 from a dealer is not bad to be honest

I have Cruise control but i prefer the look of the new stalk, could i get away with changing to the new style stalk or do i need to change to the retro fit wiring to change the stalk?

You can change the stalk without having to change the wiring.

You could try vwcruise.com, they will come out to you though don't know what the extra cost will be for visiting Ayrshire.

We charge £160, and have done a great many,

Unless it's a favour it's not worth doing for that money, so yes very good price.

Hey guys sorry i aint been on for a while getting it done from Ingram in Ayr. Not sure how much it should cost but i was getting £50 knocked off for some issues i had with them and its actually costing me £45 so i take it the real price should be £100
