Exhaust Cleaning - Wire Wool

Featured Replies

I clean my exhaust with Autosol and a MF cloth.

The results aren't bad but I feel they could be better.

I've seen wire wool mentioned by some. Is there a specific detailing grade of wire wool I should be using, or do I just raid the bag of brillo pads in the kitchen?

I remember trying to clean it with Duraglit like it was yesterday.

That's what I use on the exhaust too. And I used it when I was in the Air Cadets. The smell brings back memories. It was Blanco that was used on the webbing wasn't it?

I use wire wool and t cut together, works a treat:)
