I sold my Lupo GTi earlier this year and after dodging the redundancy bullet (this time around anyway ) I'm now looking to get myself a new motor.

After much consideration I've decided to go for a Special Edition Fabia VRs because I want something as late as possible, like blue cars, like the leather interior and it's still VAG. There doesn't appear to be one for sale within 100 miles of me but as I've gone six months without a car I'm prepared to be patient - I'll be happy if I source one by the end of the year. The search starts now...

Ended up buying an '04 silver VRS! Not what I had in mind originally but it's in immaculate condition with full main dealer history - seemed too good an example to pass up. I bought it from a reputable rural Peugeot dealer (it was a trade-in) and it comes with a 6 month warranty for peace of mind. Obviously a good deal cheaper than the Special Edition I was originally aiming for so I've got a fair wedge of spare cash should anything need done.
