loss of power in the high en of revs ?Need some technical help/advice

hi my fabia vrs seems to go like a rocket untill it hits over 3,000 revs then seems to loose power and also gose into limp mode. although once you rev her a bit or turn her off then on again she ok for a while or so any adivice ??????

It sounds like a dodgy N75 or more likely sticky VNT mechanism in the turbo, but you should get it scanned as simbo says.

N75 is the vacuum control on the Turbo that moves the variable vanes (VNT). First check would be to get the garage that did the cambelt, to check they fitted it aligned correctly. One tooth out and it will run like a dog.

VNT and N75 can be checked by applying vacuum to the N75, and seeing if the VNT actuation lever moves freely (special tools required.)
