What do people think of this (new car)

Featured Replies

Ive come over all loving on nothing but german vag cars. I cant see me buying anything now outside the group and ive had my eye on one of these, until my insurance creeps down hopefully next year which would bring me in line for this :)

If the car looks like these pictures I think I know were my money will be going, it would ether be a polo or a golf, but I would assume the polo as I dont really need the size of a golf. I wonder if it will keep that awesome 1.8T 20V engine, one can only hope

Very nice, but it will be vastly overpriced, and underspecced. To get it a few more creature comforts generally cost a fortune from VW.

And in my experience VW aftersales service is woeful.

The only other option would be the new seat ibiza cupra, and am not a big fan of the styling, Altho maybe it would look better in black. VW dealers around were I live are pretty good so the aftercare doesnt worry me.

Looks nice, but it won't be cheap and it remains to be seen how well it drives. The previous shape 9N3 GTi was a bit underwhelming.

I've not met a hot Polo yet that I've liked tbh, but I do have a soft spot for the previous gen Ibiza Cupra which was far more capable than the looks suggested. What would interest me is Mazda putting the quick version of the Mazda2 into production that they took to the motorshow a couple of years back to gauge interest - that was a great looking little thing.

looks very nice, hope it doesnt drive like the previous shape though

dont like it tbh, like the blue gti golf though

Dare I say....I think that looks better then the Golf. I wonder how true to the concept it will stay?

But it'll probably be £15k.
