Nikon 50mm f1.4 AF-S - photos

Featured Replies

Just been having some fun with Nikon's latest 'fast fifty' and thought I would share with you. If anyone else has this lens, how do you find it?

I like it very much, BUT nailing focus at f1.4 is easier said than done...

These are on my F80 film camera.

I got the 1.8 version whilst waiting impatiently for my 105. I have just taken it to Prague with the D80 and heres a couple I took. (more to come when I sort them out, only just got back lol)

I took it for the speed at night time, as I didn't have tripod with me

I've only got the 1.8 as well, which has produced some respectable snaps such as these ones which I quite like

and a pet one, maximising the 1.8 aperture

He came willingly, all I needed was a bit of food :)

Nice thread & pics again Mr TH:thumbup:

Is your dog that out of focus in real life?

No I am a **** photographer, maybe you would like to bully me about it until I either meet your standards or leave the site altogether :P
