Which? Car Survey 2009

Featured Replies

Apols is anyone else has posted this, but just spotted the results of the Which? magazine 2009 reliability survey as posted on the net by Honda:

Now, does anyone else find it strange, to say the least, that Skoda is only rated 'average', while VW and Audi are 'poor'? This seems to go against other driver surveys (JD Power/What Car? etc) where Skoda always does very well.

Also, I'm not a maths genius, but why are so many results identical - 79.6% repeated endlessly? Looks more like a Iranian or Afghan poll result than a genuine set of figures to me?!

Based on car owners opinions which are not worth squat these days. Hondas are reliable, but like every other Japanese car, they are still rot boxes that rust from day one. Mates 4 year old Mazda 6 has rusty rear wings, engine bay inner wing top struts, D pillars.

Another mate has an Alfa Romeo on a W plate, never gone wrong and still looks minted, go figure.

Skodas are far from perfect, but for the money, they are well built and if looked after pretty reliable.

I doubt if more than a handful of the 77,000 respondents understand how a car works, and if everything was indeed working as it should.
