Drivers side windows, door lock.

Featured Replies

Hi Pals

My drivers side window/door locking control of my 2001 Fabia Comfort is broken. The Drivers side window switch is broken beyond repair (the joint snapped, I tried to superglue it and managed to glue the actual switch (don't ask)).

Anyway, does anyone know where on earth I can get my hands on a cheap replacement. My Skoda dealership quoted me €180 parts. The replacement is very easy, so all I'm looking for is the part.

Any help would be greatly appeciated.

By the way, I'm in Dublin!

Hi and pardon my ignorance but what search term would you use on Ebay to find these Fabia's?

At €`180 they're screwing you. I had the same problem recently and bought the switch assembly from a Skoda dealer for about €32 and fitted it myself. I have a 2002 Fabia Comfort and live in Galway. The worst part of the job was popping of the top of the armrest/door handle. Ten minutes at the most.

"Fabia Breaking" normally brings them up. or "Fabia Nut" "Fabia Wheel nut" as well as changing nut for bolt. :)
