Featured Replies

Been having some fun with my new (used) 28mm Nikkor (AIS) and I thought I would share with you. Please do share your 28mm photos - it is great to see all your images.

Those are on a crop camera, but it's a nice FL for a prime.

Will be slowly adding more here Canon EF 28mm f/1.8 USM - a set on Flickr as I've only had the lens for a few days.

Massively different depth of field there. I'm not really a fan of the long DoF.

Just to add that you can get a lens the same as mine, a film body to use it on and enough rolls of film to have some fun for under £120 which I think is totally amazing as all the stuff new would have cost nearly £1000. Now really is a great time to enjoy photography!

Long DoF? Guess we use different terminology, as I'm not sure what you mean. :o

You don't like it when only certain bits are isolated and in focus?

Long depth of field. Whereby both foreground and background subjects are in focus.

Ah - guess you weren't talking about my photo's then! :D

TH - when do you get time to develop all these pics? lol! I haven't even got round to buying any film yet! :D

Loz - I cheat I'm afraid - my lab scans them onto CD at the time of processing. I use Snappy Snaps, Watford branch.
