Hi - considering a Fabia vrs

Featured Replies

Morning all,

As the title says i'm thinking of getting rid of my thirsty Clio. Costs a fortune to insure and at the pump. Great fun to drive like but getting a bit expensive now that it's 5 year service is looming.

Thinking of heading over to the dark side [diesel] - can anyone convince me to buy a Fabia vRS?

Welcome to Briskoda

Hello. Skoda have got an offer on the VRS, you buy one, you grin all day :D

Just drive one mate, its all you can do really. Most people will support your choice. But the clio is alittle monster, so dont expect much from the fabia. But all the low end grunt will make you feel your going faster

Hi and welcome, hang round here long enough and you'll have one bought in no time!

Cheers for the warm welcome people. Popped to the local Skoda dealership at lunchtime to have a look, the seats are a bit nasty don't you think?

welcome to briskoda get a vrs imo best car ive ever had great fuel economy and performance is great

I have recently changed from an 04 Civic Type R to a 54 Black Magic VRS and its great. Getting an average of 50mpg on all my driver to work, spirited and round town.

Comfy, cheap to run, looks good. Just drive it and you will see

£125 tax and £300 a year insurance compared to £570 and £210 certainly helps. Also if you want it to be quicker, chip it fairly cheap and you still get the good fuel economy unless you drive with your right foot planted all the time :D

Welcome btw

Hi Zeff', i've seen a few black vRS' - with varying descriptions of what colour the "black" is - can you inform me to the differences? What interior does yours have? What model has the leather seats?

As far as I am aware the only black is the black magic. My interior is the cream and black with stitched VRS logo. The leather came as standard on the limited edition one (1000 made) and that is only available in the nice blue colour and I dont know the specific name. Sorry still new to the scene

The reason I didn't buy one earlier. I held out for one with leather.
