On line parts suppliers

Featured Replies

Due to my working hours I cannot easily get to the Skoda dealers so tend to use online retailers for parts. After a bad experirnce with Jorily can anyone recommend any online retailers for basic servicing items (filters pads etc)?

Jabbasport, Euro Car parts.

With jorily, I have found every time I've ordered I've had to contact them in regard to parts of orders missing or slow dispatch. To be fair, they always get the parts out and their postage makes them great value for cheaper items. Vwspares are sometimes cheaper on some things, always prompt dispatch and answered a very detailed email about fuel filters at 9pm the other night. Definitely give them a go!

More fair explanation

I wouldn't call a delayed delivery a bad experience. I explained why it was delayed and appologised. I told you I had a very serious problem on Thursday and had to close which delayed orders. Please show some compassion. I can't explain on here what my problem was. But one member on here knows.

what was the bad experience? Can't have been that bad I'm sure - Jorily has always managed to resolve issues to everyones satisfaction that I'm aware of

If it was postage I'd hardly think that was a bad thing. Twice recently Jorily has done next day delivery for me on urgently needed items, still stayed cheaper than anywhere else and been very good about it really. Servicing items seem to always be in good stock and I can't think of a single time I've not had a prompt delivery on them, nor any of the other Skoda people I know??

Jorily have contacted me about the small issues I've had in the past and have provided secondary telephone numbers should I still have outstanding issues so can't really argue with that! I do believe they are trying to provide great service, they are perhaps just a little understaffed to deal with busy ordering times? .. But after a simple email, they've always got the bits out to me via courier quickly enough!

Out of all the larger online suppliers my vote still leans towards VWspares & Jorily. Eurocarparts is always in my mind but prices seem to be higher on a lot of things (although free delivery over £50)

We are always happy to accept text messages which we will endeavor to answer within 6-12 hours between the hours of 8-30am-10pm Monday to Friday. And 10am-6pm Weekends and bank holidays. We can't always promise a complete answer if out of business hours, but we'll try our best. The number is 07595 924887.

When Texting please try and give as much detail about your car and part required. Inc Car reg no.

I have ordered a lot through Jorily and with the exception of the odd days delay in posting had nothing but good service. He is certainly the cheapest place to get things and has a massive range of parts.

Only last week graham drove 2 hours to deliver parts to me (a pair of mk1 Estelle wings amongst other things) to ensure they were in tip top condition. I dont really know Graham other than from buying bits from him so its not as if Ive received special treatment.

At the end of the day there isnt another Skoda specialist in the country that can supply the range of stuff Jorily does......eveyone deserves a 2nd chance!

I know a bit about Graham's problems and can vouch for it's seriousness...a bit of compassion wouldn't go amiss.

However, disregarding any compassion, biass or anything else I can honestly say that I've never had a bad experience in all the times I've used Graham for parts, in some cases the parts I've required have been pretty rare!

I can only follow up the "good experiences" with Jorily.

Admittedly, I live close to him (about 10 minutes away), but i can honestly say when it comes to stock or out of hours business collection / question answering, he is 2nd to none, (like sunday afternoon, can i pick up a...... etc).

I have looked at buying stuff when I have been in Czech, and can say Jorilys prices are excellent.

Overall, i cannot fault the guy.

I'm not going to go into details here, if you really want to know then PM me, guess I was just unlucky then

If anyone on here has yet to use Jorily I would certainly recommend them as a supplier, Graham has always bent backwards to help me and and get hard to source parts.I think the Skoda community (particularly those with older models) owe Graham a big thanks for his efforts and expertise. Owning a rapid/estelle is far easier with jorily's support.

I hope you got the parts you needed Mad_Mark

I think those who complain need to remember that everyone is human and everything can not go smoothly all of the time. By and large Jorliy are a great asset to the skoda community and I would have no problem what's so ever using them (infact I have in the past for a thermo housing for the felly).

Lets rememeber Jorily is not some large franchise based parts distributor. They are a small specialist team supporting a semi niche market, very well.

So  to them and lets hope these little issue people are having get ironed out.
