Hello All (Skoda Owner Again)

Featured Replies

Hi all, this is my first post although I've been a member for about two months. In July of this year my old Multipla was causing too many problems and the main reason for the Multi (six seats) had gone. Time for a new car I thought. Eight years ago I owned a Fabia Comfort Estate TDI, which I really liked, so I went to my local Skoda Dealers to view a second hand one which I had spotted on their website. Unfortunately although it was low mileage it had not been very well looked after. As I was leaving the forecourt I spotted something special:eek:. Out went practicality and in its place went obsession:D. I am now the proud owner of a Fabia VRS SE, which now takes up too much of my time, but I can't seem to leave it alone. It is as many other members seem to think economical and great fun to drive.

Two months down the line I have made some changes/additions to the car, after reading a lot of posts on this website I seem to get the impression that its best to leave the SE version bog standard, but I could not resist it. So after giving it a good clean I took some pictures and decided to see what your opinion, comments, and criticisms are.

Hopefully these are the links to the images :-

Thanks for the compliment nokiauk hope other people like it too !

Well spotted the extra display down by the gear stick is a re-housed TomTom Navigator unit, which I fitted into the ash tray housing. When its not being used it runs a slide show as in the following pics :-

And Working :-

Bit of a fiddle todo and needed an external aerial to pickup a good GPS Signal, it not that noticable from outside the car, and if seen looks like its fitted in to the car so I hope that no one will break in to try and steal it which is generally the case for most TomToms !!

welcome
