"Emission workshop " light on

Featured Replies

My wife has a 2005 Octavia Elegance 2.0 TDi PD Elegance. She is currently 100 miles from home, due back tomorrow. She has just phoned me to say that the "Emissions workshop" warning light has come on. Will she be ok driving it home?

What is the light warning of?

Thanks,

Mike.

Had it on mine as well, in my case it was a 20p fuel temp sensor.

I guess there are therefore many reasons for it, and the only real way to see the exact problem is a VCDS or dealer fault code scan. You dont have a DPF so it cannot be a problem with that.

I drove for a few weeks with it coming and going away, so I guess if its the sensor then you'll be fine.

if the car drives ok and no lack of power , then its ok to continue
