Office 2003 on Vista ?

Featured Replies

MS Office 2003 on Vista, does it work ok ?

Yup, that's what is on my daughter's laptop

Can't see why their would be a problem.

As well as anything works on Vista....

it works just fine, no problem at all.

Only thing you will need to watch is if you using newer versions on other computers. Office 2007 for example saves as another file type (default) which is not compatible with older versions.

Can download an update for 2003 so it can open (and edit?) the new .docx etc files that 2007 uses. Or you could change the default file type in 2007 to .doc etc.

Also... if you may be possibly be using a perhaps non-genuine version (naughty, naughty! ;)) then don't install the "Genuine Advantage Notification" update :)
