 Hehe bit of blue for the dads!!

Yeah, I really liked it that red mk5. Really clean. The BBS CKs with the R8 callipers looked great on it too. Was useful to see the ball burnished CKs on that 6series convertible as I had been considering them - the finish looked terrible up close, all pitted.

Apparently a girl with a Lupo had her baps out in the afternoon, but I missed it. :(

Cool photos lads .

Well at Rother Valley, a nice lady got her flapjack out for the lads (& lasses)!

Oh crikey, I forgot to phone you back Darren. It was only that I came to Rother Valley on the way back up from Players, but as it was quite late I figured you'd probably already gone and I didn't want to pay the 3 quid to go through the gate to have that proved. :o

Hey matey, yeah Almo (the trouble maker) is one of my best buddies, we've been in the car scene for a fair few years (although he's baby faced and doesn't look a day over 19...)

Rims looks awesome dude, transformed his Pisrat:thumbup: Never seen another set like it either:D Hopefully he might keep it a bit longer now, but he's a nightmare with his cars...

good pics

Great pictures. If he does sell the car - I want the rims! :)

well i did tell him 2 send me a pic of them on the car but must of forgot

they look wicked man tell him to keep them they suit it

wot the next show you two goin 2 wouldnt mind seeing the car in the flesh

I really hope we can get some more Skodas in SnS shows next year. Would be nice if we could get the standard up a bit and make it worthwhile splitting the Seat / Skoda class in some shows. I've got some things planned for mine ready for next year. Shame the best Skoda at Players (the black mk2 VRS) was parked at the far end of the car park, because I think that would've beaten that Leon that won.

Well we are meant to be going to Westside this weekend, but I'm not sure if I can make it this time, he was on about taking his Jetta to that one anyway! He has too many toys!

His internet is rubbish at his place, he has one of those dongle things and it always plays up! So he is only on the net once or twice a week!

Not sure there are many shows left this year!?! I'd be suprised if he keeps it till UD next March, he's had more motors than we've had hot lunches:rofl:

I totally agree fella, Seats and Skodas are a lot more popular now, it seems silly to have one award for Seat/Skoda together and 6 awards for non-VAG!

There should be at least a runner up and winner for each class now, as us Skoda boys (and girls!) have really picked our games up.

Each year there are more and more modified Skods and there are some really nice ones floating about now.

I'm trying with mine, but I do big miles in it, so it's hard to keep it stone chip/british road abused free!:D

Yeah, I do quite a few miles a year and yes the stone chips are really annoying. Thinking about blue taping mine for drive down to the alps in Feb like Simon did with his for MIVW. :)

Short of putting a bra on it or one of those plastic / vinyl protection things all you can do is leave a big gap between you and the vehicle in front, which let's face it, is a good idea anyway. Nothing you can do about the ones from oncoming cars though :( . My last Octy picked up a shed load of chips in one pass of a gritter which was chucking out stupidly large pieces. I saw and heard them pounding the wing and bonnet, had a look when I got to work and the damage was immediately evident. Phoned the council to complain and they pretty much just laughed at me.
