I went to see the Yeti yesterday, it was in the Norwich showroom. Brown colour like the roadshow one I saw. I didn't realise for a while but this one had the full size spare (I'm sure the roadshow one did not) so it can't make that much of a difference with this in. In other words I didn't open the boot and think "That's much smaller".

The seats in this are brilliant although this is subjective as everyone has their own preference to shape and hardness (oo-er!). Most comfortable car I have sat in.

Popped round to VW afterwards and as is always the case with VW Norwich you cannot get salespeople to even acknowledge you, second time I have been there and this has happened, despite having a good poke around the in-showroom Golf GTi which is not exactly cheap they didn't feel an interest to come over and try and sell me one. Aside from a few extra touches, I thought the Skoda interiors are now much the same as VW, ie. very nice. And on the subject of service, Skoda yet again could not be more helpful, even willing to let my friend take her giant dog down to see if it will fit in the boot of a Roomster.

The only downer really for me is the CR140 Yeti was listed at something like £21k or £22k, so Skoda prices have now gone mainstream (ie. up!). I didn't think this was as much of a bargain as my Fabia VRS was at the time, or even the Octavia VRS when this has been on offer this year. Of course - competitive maybe compared to other 4x4 but at £20k+ for the spec I want there are a lot of alternatives.

Apparently, the fluffy Yeti is prone to malting and leaving white hairs all over the place!
