Paint Claim Rejected

Featured Replies

Well i got a call from Henrys Skoda to say Skoda UK wouldn't pay for my paint repairs due to the car being outwith manufacturers warranty

The paint is covered for 3 years from date of registration against manufacturing defects which is what this is. So i now need to have my bumpstrips put back on till i can afford to have both sides resprayed

Ahhh Juego from SVAG :D Remember to give Touch Ups a shout when you want the sides resprayed. I take it you removed your bumpstrips then?

Yeh i did indeed mate

I've used touch ups before and was over the moon. Was good mates with them, but not been over for ages as they're now too busy lol

They are still doing excellent work, and they are busy but should be able to fit you in usually within 2 to 3 week window. They are now in their new workshop which is far better than their old place, infact its excellent as its practically at the bottom of my street ;)

You don't have any pics of your car without the strips do you? Interested to see a silver vRS with no strips.

Yeh been in the new unit a couple of times. Don't have the money atm to bother about the car. Gonna put the strips back on and probably just leave them on

Nah no pics, cars neglected. Only pics i have are of my engine mods

I thought that this was covered under the 10 year body warranty.......

.........until I did my own research and found out that there is only a 3 year paint warranty! There is a 10 year non-rust-through of the car body warranty though???

?koda Auto - Manufacturer warranty
