Hi everyone,

I have got the standard Octavia VRS Mk1 alloys and am finding the 205-50 R17 tyres are bloody expensive! I have been looking around and have seen some Toyo Proxi T1R`s in 215-40 R17, they are so much cheaper than the standard size? Will these fit ok and will they give me a speedo problem with it reading to slow or to fast?

Im sorry if this has been done before.

Any help guys would be great.

225 45 17 are the alternative size which are cheaper than 205 50 17.
