the car has been in again to the garage to have the seals changed on the fuel lines, but made no difference, went back again to have it air/fuel leaks and pressure tested along with all the other gadgets the garage had and still nothing.

the only thing the garage now suggested was to buy and fit a fuel non return valve plumbed into the fuel lines????

its annoying more that the car comes up fine on all the tests its had

anyone else suggest anything and would this vavle be ok?

cheers

simon

try a set of glow plugs. the way you keep having to switch the ignition on and off to make a difference does also point to a glow plug problem. esp in the cold weather. there not too expensive either.

Mine has started to do the same in the cold weather. Mine is also fine for the rest of the day after the cold start.

Did you ever get to the bottom of this issue and find a resolution, toosmiles?

Ok will do. Same issues as described in OP, but will do some fault finding of my own so as to be as specific as possible for new post.  Thanks
