Hi everyone, ive got an 05 Fabia Vrs with 35000 miles. The past week or so ive noticed when I come to a stop at junctions or lights the idle speed will sit around 1100/1200rpm and will fall back to around 750/800rpm when I blip the throttle. It happens when the engine is both cold or hot and sometimes the idle is a bit rough. Otherwise the car runs perfectly with no compalints.

As this is my first diesel car Im a bit clueless where to start looking :confused:. Any idle valves or sensors to check out?

Throttle sender module faulty, common fault. 20 minute job, about £90. Throttle is fly by wire, and the potentiometer on the pedal goes noisy.
