Help please - poor connection somewhere ?

Featured Replies

Hi, my indicators have been a bit hit and miss on my vrs for a few months.

As the car was due a service I mentioned it to the mechanic. Unfortunately they were working ok at the time so nothing could be done.

Since then they have become intermittent again. However I have since had a few other problems, namely the driver door not working on central locking and strangely the driver mirror not adjusting.

Does anyone know if all these faults are related ?

The above faults did clear for a while and I am sure the indicators were then working normally as well.

Thanks.

Hi, could be a dodgy relay for the indicator problem...relay sits behind Hazard switch, replaced mine and cured mine

Thanks phil, where's the best place to get a replacement ?

Daz.

go to the dealer for the relay, £20 odd. Two minute job to fit.

The indicators probably aren't related to the door problems, that sounds like it could be water getting somewhere it shouldn't in the door.

Thanks trundle, I have been looking at some other threads and as you say water in the door connections seems common.
