I fell asleep!

Although I can see another conspiracy race fixing:

Sutil didn't want Rosberg to do well, so after hearing that Rosberg went over the white line exiting the pits, he knew he would get a drive-through penalty. So Sutil decided to make an over-eagerly move to get past Alguersuari and then clipping innocent Heidfeld doing his 360 to get back in the right direction, brought out the safety car.

Result! Knowing that Rosberg would have to do his drive-through after the safety car with all the other drivers bunched up, it would ruin his race.

There! More excitement in conspiracy theories than the racing itself :thumbdwn: :o

Street circuits are pretty dull usually. Jenson did a bit better than yesterday and Hamilton appears to be back on the pace. I was expecting Weber to hit the wall when Vettel pitted early for his second stop.

I spent the afternoon doing this - it was more interesting

Roll on Moto GP or World Superbikes

Quite eventfull.

Jenson could have the championship in the bag next week.

Serious question.

Does anyone actually like the night race idea? If so, for any reason other than not having to get up early?

Personally I'd rather get up early and be able to see the city around the track.

Don't think there is a problem with night racing particularily just with dull circuits - Spa was ok. Mind you there was some good aerial shots

zzzz snooze fest

i Sky+'d it and watched it after lunch on FF x16 and my parents and gf still fell asleep!

only interesting bit was when Sutil kn0bbled Rosberg whilst doing a donut!

still argue that the lighting means it is actually a day race held at night - give them rally style headlight pods and see how they get on!

That proves how bored you were - it was Heidfeld who got tw*tted by Sutil ;)

It was Heidfield who Sutil hit. I suspect he'll get penalised for that when the race stewards get round to it as it was a stupid error.

Generally agree with the consensus that this was a dull (though brightly lit) race. Hopefully Suzuka next week will be better.

Or possibly how bored you were. Yes Sutil torpedoed Heidfeld amidships, but Rosberg was due to serve a drive-through for a pit exit infringement, and had to do it when the field was closed right up after the safety car, so at the worst possible time.

 it was blue and white so i was close - and it was on FF! :P

Non comprende ???? :confused::confused:

Sutil tw*tted Heidfeld, not Rosberg, end of.

I like the night race, but on a better circuit I think.

Singapore is OK, but nothing to right home about.

Sutil also scr*wed up Rosberg's race, by effectively dumping him 10 places further back down the field than he'd have been had the safety car deployed just after Rosberg took his drive-through, rather than just before.
