I've been looking at the offers Skoda have at the moment and like the look of the VAT free and 0% finance deal.

I'm thinking of an Octavia and would be interested to know if anyone has been to a dealer to dscuss deals and was able to get any further discounts over and above what Skoda is offering.As an aside I spoke briefly to a dealer at the weekend about their deals and he said that prices were going up by 2 to 3% on 1st October.Don't know if he was saying that to try and get me to buy, but I'd be surprised if dealers can get increased prices to stick at the moment.

Yep, prices are going up across the range on 1st October.

My dealer said these were delayed increases from earlier in the year as Skoda never put their prices up back in April when most other manufacturers did.
