New front brakes, now a squeal turning right

Featured Replies

Since having the front brakes changed I seem to have a squeal when turning right slightly. Only does it after driving for a while... kind of intermittent like somethings catching as it rotates.

Dab on the brakes it goes so pretty sure its the brakes, just the drivers side.

Something worth getting someone to check? They used loads of copper slip on the back of the pads as i can see it

I would whip them off and get some more copper grease on there. Also stick some on the back of the pad. I had this when I last changed mine and they hadn't quite used anough grease. Took it all off, scrubbed it down and covered it in copper grease and it cured it straight away.

Also it might cure itself once they're bedded in a bit more.

It will only do it when driven for a while as everything will expand as it warms up.

probably just the pad catching the disc edge , nothing to worry about

copper slip is ok , but don't put too much on
