Young tiger Ree here is due to take his test a week tomorrow (Thursday), so as a treat for all his fine efforts, I've decided to insure the Fabia for him with Collingwood learner policy for just over £20 for his final 7 days of being a provisional licence holder...hopefully.

It could be his first and last opportunity to drive it on the public highway for a few years sadly.

Just been to purchase the policy on line, and the sods want an extra £20 admin charge( ) for 'changing the policy details,'.which has to be done on the phone it seems.

No end to the way these insurance companies squeeze the money out of you is their ey?

I've promised him some extra tuition on an accompanied beginners track day when he's passed...in the Fabia.:P
