Alloy Wheel Refurb

Featured Replies

I have been considering this for a little while now - on my 5 spoke 17" alloy's. They have corroded - and were scraped when I got the car with them on. Unfortunately I didn't help matters either last year in London in a tight underground car park, and scraped them a little bit more

They are beginning to look a bit tatty close up and I am keen to get them blasted and then re-sprayed. I have considered doing this myself, although not sure on costs, and also how much of a mess I would make of them

Someone at work said somewhere would do them for about £50 an alloy, blasted and sprayed. Its a while you wait service. Is this a reasonable price for this sort of thing? Im in mid Wales - apparently the place mentioned was in Wrexham so not too far.

Any thoughts very welcome.

I looked at having mine done and had quotes ranging from £50 a wheel to £140 a wheel!!
