Octavia Scout 09 mudflaps - front

Featured Replies

 Hi all, just a quick guide of how I fitted/modified my front mudflaps tonight - Mine is an FL model 09, The front mudflaps are KEA 600 001 ( £20 pair ) see attached pics, you require a torx 25 bit and some tape to write on and a drill with a 5mm bit, first place some tape at the outside edge near the holes, put the steering on full lock to allow access, remove the 2 side screws and the lower recessed one, fit the lower recessed self tapper loosely through the mudflap, then press up the mudflap snugly into position and mark the hole positions on the tape ( approx 1cm above the centre of the existing holes and off to the edge ) remove lower screw and drill the holes in the marked positions on the tape, remove tape press the flap into position and fix with the 3 self tappers, pressing it snugly into position for a good fit,the top of the flap just lines up with another screw right on the top edge so you might be able to use that one as well. The smallest gap is about 15mm clearance so it should be plenty. Cheers - Stuart.

If you have O2FL the mud flaps should be KEA 600 001A (style).
