Hey chaps/chapesses

i've been thinking about doing a few little visual mods to the octy for a while now,and was wondering if you would be so kind as to give me a little help.

The main thing i was looking at changing were the wipers to a set of aero ones from vag parts but am a bit confused as to which ones to order for the octy.Also i have spotted on vag parts under the mk 4 golf section some of the blue tinted heated mirror glass and was wondering if this would fit as a direct replacment to the octy(mate has a golf GTi T and the mirrors look the same)?

The other thing i have been tempted by are some Inpro Chrome Mirror Covers - Mk4 Golf/Bora/Leon/Ibiz Mk4/PassatB (Bling Mirrors not wing mirrors ) as seen on awsome gti's website and was wondering if these would fit or could be made to fit?

Aero wipers do look the business!

Not sure what is involved in fiiting them but have noticed a few Octy's on here with them.

I did a quick search and stathap has fitted them!

Also saw a silver one with them fitted but don't know whose that is!

With regards to the blue tint mirror glass it might well be that the most recent Octy's have them already - mine certainly have a blue tinge to them.

Yeah i knew the later slightly face lifted octy (july 2001 onwards i think-mine is june 2001) had the blue tinted glass fitted but was just wondering if the ones on vag parts under the golf section would fit as this saves me leaving the house (yes,i'm bone).

crome finish mirror covers can be had from milotec... dont know the web addy.

cant help on the blue mirror glass im afraid as like you say the 2000> cars have the tinted mirrors already. might be worth calling the supplier and asking.

Ask Josh about the Milotec covers as I think that's what he got. General consensus though was that they looked a bit pants. You could still see the body colour even with them on. The ones above, though not my cup of tea, look better quality.

Had a look at the Milotec website earlier on and have to admit their covers looked a bit pap,do they just stick on? The ones on Awsome look like a complete replacement from the picture.

crome covers on a car that doesnt have them in the range would look pap imo... but each to their own i suppose... best thing to do is call the supplier and ask.

The aero wipers can be had from vag-parts,i just don't know which ones to get for the octavia. Vag-Parts
