Austria Yeti spotted

Featured Replies

While driving on a return trip to Austria from Croatia along the E59 yesterday, spotted a Yeti !! my first. I was moving at around 130 km per hour with most other road users at this time on the motorway, when I was pleasantly surprised by this rather upright looking Skoda badged vehicle that passed me on the outside lane, like I was crawling along. My first reaction was probably that of a person who on a snow covered glacier set eyes on the legendry type Yeti , I wiped my eyes !!! stared out in disbelief as it dawned on me this was indeed a Yeti, and here I was doing 130km hr and it was powering along the out side lane, with all in front moving out of its way. It had written across the rear window in letters completely covering the rear screen Porsche Leasing, I know this company as our own Octy is leased with them. All I can say is if they all go like that on the motorway, what else do they offer, it looks awesome.

The Austrians seem to love their smaller 4x4's so I think the Yeti will do well there.

I always used to spot hundreds of Suzuki SJ's over there, in all sorts of useful variants that we never got in the UK.
