Felicia Exhaust

Featured Replies

I was thinking about getting a performance backbox, but i dont think that i really want all that noise as my dad has to drive the car too. So i was wondering if i could fit a golf gti backbox or something?

You can go to a custom stainless steel exhaust place, discuss your requirements re noise, and they should be able to give a quote :)

If it's a stock 1300 Fel, it won't make much noise anyway - I ran my Recce car without the tailpipe for a while (as I needed to rob it during a rally for the rally car), and it was just a bit throaty. If the engine is standard then you won't see much of a performance gain anyway from just the tailpipe, if anything.

a company called MIJ did mine. i went for the full on ear splitter, but they will do what ever you ask.

You bloody hooligan!

I was quite tempted by this on Jorily:

Together with a stainless steel manifold and down pipe and a de-cat... would sound very nice i'm sure!

i wonder if that twin jobby will fit the pickup?

It is designed for the Felicia and seems to have the mounting points in the right places etc so don't really see why it wouldn't!

Go for it Tom!

i'd love to say it'll fit. but we all know the skoda design team had been on the vodka at lunch when they scetched out the pick-up.

the rear floor pan is exactly the same as the estate one, but the rear axle is different

With Exhausts you have to consider the engine as an air pump...

To increase performance, you need to increase the efficiency of the engine's ability to draw in, and push out air..

I'd leave the exhaust til last, and concentrate on improving the intake side of theings before creating a possible drop in backpressure due to a large exhaust.

to paraphrase a famous sales slogan..

"noise without power is nothing"
