Cruise question.

Featured Replies

I've got cruise control fitted to my L&K octy which i recently bought. It's been a joy to use, but i've noticed a few times, that when cruise is active, and I indicate (lane change etc) the cruise will just cut out and i'll have to resume it.

This doesn't happen every time so i assume it isn't intentional. Why would it be anyway? So what do you think? Lose connection somewhere? Perhaps something shorts out when the indicator is flicked?

Not sure if it is relevent, but it ONLY happens every now and again when indicating left. Thus far, it's never happened when going into a faster lane. Perhaps it's trying to tell me something?

The cruise control buttons are on the indicator stalk so I'd guess a dodgy stalk. I suppose it may be repairable (electrically conductive muck it somewhere?) but you'll probably be advised to just replace the stalk.
