I've been on here quite a while now and i'm very happy with my VRS. Its just that the fabia is my family car and my daily driver and so cant do all the wild and whacky things that spring to mind.

Its my 11th Polo in 12 years of driving. Have a soft spot for them! Its a 1.4 16v with A/C & a sunroof - which is unheard of! Its a very early model with very low mileage - I picked it up with 71 miles on a brand new VAG engine - yes thats right 71 miles! The original engine snapped its timing belt. and turned it into scrap. The couple that owned it had it repaired and then she decided she didnt want to drive it any more. I knocked on the guys doors one day and asked if it was forsale. £1200 changed hands a week later!

I then started doing a few mods:- Wheels on!

then coilovers

Then picked up another bonnet and sanded it down

Finally it started to rust!!!

Then got bored of wheels & bonnet and moved onto this.

They are Compotive TH Monos is 8x15 & the original bonnet & ABT grill

The gearbox took a pounding and the diff has lost a tooth - so new gearbox required. Got a 1.6 8v box to put in it. maybe not as good on acceleration, but better for cruising speed.

Rust is starting to get the better of the shell. So its going into the bodyshop at the beginning of November - all 4 arches rolled and pulled, new drivers side door, and drivers side rear door, along with a sill section which is holed and smoothing of the front bumper.
