Hi folks, newbie here

I'm insterested in buying a 52 plate Octavia Ambiente 1.9TDi Auto with 66k on the clock. I've been reading reviews on the car etc and they seem to be solid, especially diesels. I'm just wondering if there's anything I should look out for.

I've had Vauxhalls up until now but my current car (54 plate Vectra 1.9CDTi Auto) has given me nothing but grief since day 1 and i spotted the Octavia for sale and i've always wanted one

Make sure all the electrics, including the fuel filler release, the stereo, and the door mirrors (one way works both, the other works one, and the central position enables mirror heating with HRW on some models) work correctly, and that there are 2 keys with the car.

Check that the box works correctly (but most owners on here have manuals), the brakes pull the car up square, and if the service book is stamped, that there's a mark for "toothed belt" (cambelt) in it.
