I have an 03 Octavia VRS. I had it remapped and was very impressed with the difference in power. I had it done by ECU flash and it was 220 quid well spent believe me.

My present predicament is related to a K & N 57i air filter which I had fitted post remap. To be honest I'm not that impressed and if anything the performance is worse. OK you get loads of whoosing noises where you had a fairly sedate engine sound before. but I think the car runs better without it and pulls better, albeit quieter.

does this ring any bells with anyone?
