have you been topping up with diesel as much as possible to dilute it ?

yes at least every other day with about £5 worth, also used redex diesel treatment. It's feeling a lot better to be honest, starting and driving perfect from cold, and warm starting feels a bit better only taking a couple of seconds and not needing the accelarator pushed down... Fingers crossed it's going to be ok! I will keep topping up as often as i can as you have all said as I think it's definitely working!
