anybody got the part number for injector loom for a 2005 octavia 2.0tdi? and any idea wat they cost

Best to order from the dealer with the chassis number of the car.

Have you suffered the common failure on the PD engines? If so have you pursued it with a dealer (assuming you have a full skoda history)?

wat is the common failure with the pd engines??? , i bought the car in england 2yrs ago its now here in ireland, it had a service history with it , all it seemed to have got threw servicing was oil and filters. it had 86k on it when i bought it , it now has 121k and ive had no issues with it apart from this small missfire when idleing?

There was a recent report, either in Audi Driver or VW Driver which detailed it as a common fault

Sorry no part number but they are about £30.

The labour will certainly be a lot more to swap thats for sure.

Since it's a design fault (IMHO) I'd be asking for some goodwill on the labour to at least bring the cost down to something sensible.

was in contact with my local skoda dealer bout this injector loom , he was not very helpfull at all, he said he never had to order one of these before as he reckons they dont give trouble, he told me last week he would be in contact if he could get the part its being six days since i last heard from them so im still on the look out for the part number if anyone else has it plz

They ALWAYS say that about EVERY fault on a car

Skoda UK told me they have never heard of BKD engines suffering with porous cylinder heads and that turbochargers aren't problematic.

They aren't ever going to put their hands up and admit there is an inherent problem with a specific part.

Enquire about the loom with one or two other dealers, some are really helpful, some are ****e
