Fabia faults

Featured Replies

My 57 reg Fabia 1.2htp has only covered 15,000 miles but has these faults

1, A pillar seals missing

2.pacel shelf clips broken

3. no aircon + sometimes put out hot air when set to cold (air con off).

4.drivers door mirror unable to adjust from inside car

Are any of these known faults & therefore accepted warantee claims

Although I like the car I find this dissappointing as my previous car,( a Niisan Micra K11)was the epitomy of reliabilty (still is my daughter now has it) only ever needing consumables (brake pads/shoes ,battery, clutch & exhaust over 15 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!

A seals missing - I guess amny people have given up on those things. Clips are very delicates and not built to last! Not seen issues with 3 or 4 before? Like you mine is a 57 with A seals missing and clips broken - but nothing else untoward!

As the car is still within the warranty period, you should take up ALL the problems listed with your dealer. Otherwise what's the point of buying a new car? ;)

My only faults so far have been the A pillar seal coming off and the micro-switch on the handbrake going faulty.

The parcel shelf clips don't seem the best design and it doesn't seem to take much to knock them off the pin and if force expect they would snap quite easily. Mine seem to have survived so far...

are the fragile parcel clips a recognised warantee claim like the A pillar seals or will they put it down to "missuse"?
