New Octavia vRS - very tempted!

Featured Replies

Hey,

Posted a thread the other day as I've been looking at getting an 07-ish plate Octavia vRS diesel.

Went to my local dealership today and saw the facelifted Octavia vRS for the first time. Looks v v nice....too nice, I now really want one to up the stakes to a new one! With 0% finance for 2 years, price of ~17000 for the diesel with the VAT offer, I think it's a great buy.

If I could have, I would have bought one there and then. Unfortunately they don't accept buttons or body parts as payment! And the VAT offer only lasts til the end of the month. There is another deal coming to replace it, but no knowing whether that will be better or worse.

I'm officially have vRS-envy.

Try DtD, might be cheaper than you think. Also keep eye out for FL demos going "cheap".

What's DtD?

Drive the Deal...a sort of online broker...I used their price to screw down the local Mazda dealer & get almost £3k off my wife's 5...up until then, they weren't going to budge much.

God luck...I agree that the FL look great (except the wheels IMHO !)...but I ain't gonna be changing for sometime...so no point in me looking !

Cheers, will have a look

I did see an 09 ex-demo, 3-4 months old which has the internal facelift/CR engine but not the external facelift. That was only £1000 less than I could get brand new one for.
