I've seen your MFD2 fitting guide and it looks great, is the principal the same for the MFD3?

apart from the surround would you know if I will need any other parts or leads to get the full functionality of the unit?

Anyone with VCDS can sort that for you. I wouldnt try getting a dealer to do it though!

The part number for the Silver Columbus/MFD3 dash trim for Octavia II vRS facelift is :

1Z0 858 069 DK DF1 - light tonal brushed finish

I recently fitted a Columbus and it really is plug and play.

Has anyone heer fitted a Wilson copy MDF3 unit into an Octavia vRS facelift (2010) successfully? If so, what faceplate did you use (1Z0 858 069 DK DF1)?
