Hard to tell with those pictures if I'm honest. Would help if it was clean too :D

Colour looks OK to me? As Wardy said though...

TBH, that's fine then.. as I can see what I "see" in the pictures above.. so I guess it is just in the eye of the beholder... or over the top owner in this case.

What I actually think has happened is the angle of spray differs from rear wing to bumper on the drivers side, and so the fleks reflect at different angles.. I think this can only ever be over come with blending.

Thanks Everyone!

Rob :)

yea the light does reflect differently, look at every Fabia no matter what the colour and the bumpers will look diff to body colour, i know both of mine do slightly

and strangely when i had my spoiler done it looked a lot darker in the bodyshop lights, a few days later and in normal light it looks spot on

Ok, new photos and a quick clean.. some taken on the cloudy day i washed it (excuse the wet patches from any comparison.. it was also raining).. and some others taken this morning in sun light coming through a very very thin cloud. Oh, and a close up of the new bumper's skirt fit.. much tighter now!

I took it to Willis skoda again but Jason was in a meeting so had a word with their estimator. He recond it looked spot on and I had nothing to worry about, but it wasn't sunny so it did look spot on. He also said that you shouldn't really compare paint jobs in really strong light and that ambient light was the best indicator. It does look pretty close on average but I'm just a bit worried about how it may start to look come summer? Could it be that it's just reflecting more light as the paints new and that's giving it the appearance of a lighter colour?

A nice bit of buffer trail on the penultimate shot, where the bumper meets metal, but overall that looks OK to me...

Steve

Hi Fella, Sorry I was not about (was being bored with science & pie charts ect);( Repair looks spot on now!, I have found in the past its almost imposible to get a 100% match between plastic & metal when painting i.e bumper rear 1/4, All you need now is a matching set of number plates & you would never know, can do you a good deal if u don't mind company advertising hehe, Cheers Jason.
