my brakes sarted to play up ie no stopping power then ABS light came on and brakes worked ,all disk`s and pads new about 2000 miles ago.. went to local garage and was told it a abs sensor but he not got test tool to find so told me to take to another garage ,they tesed and said it o/s/f sensor ,so i said do job. next day i get phone call saying wheel bearing caused the fault, now wheel bearings were changed in july and only done 500 miles max!!.. had work done then went to garage that did bearings they said not a prob but they need old bearing to sent for refund.. went back to other garage and guess what .. they have lost the bearing in 2day`s now my experiance of garages they leave stuff out back for months.. so going back up monday to see if it has apeared because they had run out of excuses as to where it gone, blamed tat man we phoned him and he hadn`t been there since before the work ... still car runs fine so not all bad ...

Sounds like you need a better garage mate. Monkeys 'R' Us will not do :D
