Keep or lose the large vRS badge?

Featured Replies

My car has the earlier vrs badge, but can't help thinking the later small one

is much neater.. but this one is rarer.. hmmm what to do??

LOOSE!!!

Clean look is the way forward.

Also, it saves weight and reduces drag, so you will go faster.

go clean IMO

I prefer the new one.

Keep the vRS and lose the Fabia!

Technically he is actually correct although the gains would be so minute they would be unquantifiable:thumbup:

I think lose the Fabia and the vRS badge for a nice clean (stealth ;)) look, or just keep them both as they are.

I have wondered if I shoud move mine or de-badge? For some reason it is been stuck next to the number plate and not next to the skoda badge.

If I do move it, I don't know what to use to re-stick it. (Sorry I know I have asked this before)

Sounds to me like its either been moved by someone before, or its possibly had a replacement tailgate (rear accident damage?). Is the rear screen the original?

Its held on with an adhesive foam. I'd avoid reusing the badge, and would buy a replacement from the dealer, they aren't a huge amount of money.

I think lose the Fabia

I concur ;)

imho I would keep it, but then again I am leaving my standard. They are the rare ones

Saying that I am desperate to get hold of some good condition standard alloys to make mine look like standard. Daft bint trashed the ones I have and it doesnt look so nice when its clean

Lose the FABIA, rearrange it and but it back spelling BIFA to make the drivers behind you smile!!!

I debadged mine, swopped the front grill VRS with the boot lid one. In my opinion the big square VRS looks good on the boot lid in the very bottom right hand corner. Juat an idea.

In answer to the question about Rareness.. It's not rare.

AFAIK it's the Octavia VRS's and around mid 2004 they made a Fabia Length version.. so If you removed it and then wanted to replace, just buy an Occty badge.

That said, it's rare actually on a Fabia, but not as a badge it's self.

Yep, quite correct - when the released the Fab vRS, they just used the same badge used on the Mk1 Octavia vRS. The result is it fits perfectly under the Octavia badge, but not under Fabia

I took mine off when I had it - much preferred just having the Skoda badge on the back.

Steve

I want my old long badge back. :(

I say keep it.
